William Lefler Jr., MD

Dr. Will Lefler moved to Reno in 2020 after spending years working as a nephrologist in Colorado. He and his wife, Lindsay, love outdoor activities, especially backcountry skiing and trail running. He has had a passion for nephrology and treating kidney disease since medical school and is especially interested in educating patients about their kidneys. He completed his internal medicine residency at Oregon Health Sciences University, where he also served as chief resident, leading and educating the entire residency program. He completed his nephrology fellowship at Duke University, where he studied the immune system and its role in hypertensive kidney disease. He is board-certified in both internal medicine and nephrology.
