LINDSAY D. SANDERS, DO, MPH

Biography
Dr. Lindsay Sanders is one of SNNC’s interventional nephrologists, specializing in both general nephrology and interventional dialysis access management. She provides critical maintenance and management of vascular accesses for dialysis patients at our partnered Azura Surgery Center in Reno, Nevada.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s degree in epidemiology from the University of Alaska, Dr. Sanders earned her medical degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Arizona. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, where she was honored with the Ambulatory Leadership Award two years in a row. She completed a general nephrology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Arizona and another fellowship in diagnostic and interventional nephrology at Arizona Kidney Disease and Hypertension Centers.
Dr. Sanders is an active member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN), and the American Society of Nephrology (ASN), she is board certified by the ABIM in both internal medicine and nephrology and serves as the Medical Director of the Azura Surgery Center in Reno, Nevada. Dr. Sanders is also HVA (Hemodialysis Vascular Access) Certified by ASDIN.
