Jenny Sanchez, MSN, APRN, CNN-NP, AGACNP is a 3rd generation Northern Nevadan who began her educational career at UNR in 2004. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and then went on to pursue her true passion–Nursing!
Jenny received her bachelors in nursing from the University of Nevada Reno. She worked as a critical care nurse in the ICU for six years where she encountered both the fragility and resilience of the human condition. After these experiences, Jenny was driven to expand her knowledge and skills with an aim to help others better learn to engage and participate in their own wellbeing.
In 2016 Jenny graduated from UNR again as a member of the first cohort of Master’s prepared Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners. After working as a Hospitalist for a year, she welcomed an offered opportunity to join Sierra Nevada Nephrology. Jenny has excelled in nephrology, positively impacting patients both in the acute and outpatient settings.
When Jenny is not working hard, she loves to spend her free time with her amazing husband, beautiful daughter and 4 mischievous dogs–Kimber, Kaizer, Kujo and Kash 🙂
